Miller (2016) explained the different modes of Kahoot application. Each mode has a different user interface. There are specific features designed for each mode. Kahoot will be asking for a username and password. For student mode, it will require to indicate the user’s age for them to be able to protect the user by its Child Protection Policy. If applicable, the student may enter his or her name of school or university. Moreover, Kahoot is an effective way to engage all students to actively participate on formative quizzes without making any pupil, who has not learned the topic, feel bad. The initial idea for Kahoot was to create a platform where the teacher and the students in a classroom could interact through a competitive knowledge game using the existing infrastructure.
