In this era, it is quite tough for ourself to do all the job by ourself. It is because nowdays the economy is in bad situation so we need to work hard to get a good place. Thanks to government also that have be introduce to us about work in group. Not only in public but also in education system also have be introduce the group section call as 21st century learning. Group is a number of people or somethings else that are gather, classed or located together. But there are also some people that disagree with this method because they thinks that being in group is dull. There is an effect of not be collaboration in group such as the group assignment cannot be done by on time, anger feeling among teammates and trust issue among teammate will come out.
First of all, the effect of not be collaboration in group is assignment cannot be done by on time. This situation obviously can we find in school or in college because they usually more comfortable doing assignment alone. When a group want to do an assignment, it is more difficult from what we have imagine. It is because when someone put effort on someone else to do their job, the person will have two job to be done and that make the assignment need to be delay or cannot be done. This is what we call as slacking off. According to NHS, bully at work (2016),”unacceptable criticisms, overloading workers with work and ignoring people and their influence are other terms of bullying”.
Other than that, the effect of not be collaboration in group is exists anger feeling among teammates. When two different ideas come out, they will be argue to choose who have a good ideas between two sides. This make the assignment proses become slower. This happened when selfish attitude held in our self. They should think how to make the ideas become more superb like combine the ideas. Like people always say, two brain is better than one brain. According to Teamweek, teamwork vs individual work, (2017), “The most extraordinary projects can be done with keystone which is teamwork”.
Lastly, trust issue among teammates also the effect of not be collaboration in group. This is because when we put a trust on someone to help or to make the work done and suddenly they ruin it, surely we will be furious to them. This can we related when one of our teammates are not doing their job even we have warning him or her until we need to do their job otherwise the job cannot done either. Ones we do this kind of attitude, no one will trust us anymore. According to Mindtools, building trust inside your team, (2007), a group of individuals, working together but often making a disappointing progress is definition of group without trust.
In conclusion, there are many effect of not be collaboration in group such as the group assignment cannot be done by on time, anger feeling among teammates and trust issue among teammate will come out. In this era , stay in group is important and more advantage because in group we can care each other, in group also we can make the hardest work become easy and many more. For my suggestion, government need to be more focus in this issue. Not only introduce them but also how to prevent the person who not collaborate with their teammates
