In conclusion, Phytoremediation is a very fast developing field, since last ten years lot of field application were initiated all over the world, it includes phytoremediation of Organic, Inorganic and Radionuclides. This sustainable and emerging as a viable alternative to conventional remediation methods and will be most suitable for a developing country. phytoremediation have been successful applied by using Typha latifolia sp and Lepironia Articulata sp to remove contaminants in wastewater from Kg Nelayan, Pulau Perhentian due to the result provided. Beside that, to compare the effectiveness of contaminants removal based on Linear Regression is Typha Latifolia sp is hyperaccumulator to remove BOD and COD compare to Lepironia Articulata sp with is hyperaccumulator to remove NH3N, SS, O&G and Chromium Hexavalent in water. The objectives of this assignment achieved and it help the students more understand and have the ability to apply their knowledges learnt in future which are very useful to their career later on.
For future development, this assignment can be upgraded by including the water flow, where the wastewater flow through the aquatic plant and provide interval time during flow. Besides that, hydraulic flow rate will provide high quality of water effluent. This method can reduce the time taken to remove contaminants completely in water. Phytogreen is a new technology and problems nevertheless ought to be faced one day or another. These problems vary from day to day so solutions and precaution measures must be taken immediately. Some problems are harder to solve than others but team work proves to be essential at time of crisis.
